The tears of Eros

It's noon. The sun beats down on the fields. The air stands still. Nyseus, the young count is sitting at a long table. The heat and the infaluating organ playing by his servant Lupo arouse an almost frenzied desire in Nyseus to perform a ritual.Yet on the one hand, he flinches from actually executing it, on the other hand, its redeeming power fascinates him. Against Lupo's advise, Nyseus has the horses yoked and speeds over the fields with the carriage. He meets the farmer's girl Puella on the way, who, as attracted by a strange spell, gets into the carriage and follows him to the castle. Here we get to know Nyeus in a whole different way. The childlike, innocent way Puella deals with her own sexuality, fascinates and excites him. He no longer escapes, but he's close to his goal to be near that moment that santifies everything you do. Eventually, both lovers are carried away into an ecstasy, which climaxes in Nyseus making a sacrifice to his love, stabbing Puella with a knife.
